Alaina Conte

M.S. , CCC-SLP

Alaina is a licensed speech-language pathologist with experience working with children, adolescents, and young adults in clinic and public school settings. She maintains certification through the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA), licensure through the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, and licensure through the Massachusetts Department of Education and Second Education.

Alaina provides speech and language services for neurodiverse adolescents and young adults with developmental disorders and complex communication needs. Alaina has experience in providing comprehensive evaluations and treatment services to clients with Developmental Language Disorder and Language-Based Learning Disabilities, Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and Social Communication Disorder.

 

Alaina earned her Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from the MGH Institute of Health Professions. There, Alaina participated in graduate fieldwork at Chelsea Jewish Lifecare, in the Newton Public Schools, and at the MGH Healthcare Center where Melissa was her clinical supervisor.

 

Alaina uses a client-centered approach when working with clients and their families, identifying ways to support their goals and promote speech and language skill development. Alaina analyzes and integrates evidence-based practice with clinical experience, and client goals and progress to provide effective and individualized care.
